Grace Hannah Park navigates the spaces between
type, motion, print, and code to question how medium shapes
message. Her work often begins with noticing how
a moving image can breathe new life into a static poster,
or how certain ideas only make sense once printed,
folded, or bound. Lately, she’s been drawn to the tactile intelligence of street posters—their materiality, their presence—and how these qualities might be translated into digital formats. With a practice grounded in both formal design and experimental tools, she treats graphic design as a
responsive system rather than a fixed outcome.

0PEN:SENSE
Website
0PEN:SENSE is an open-source website that grew out of my research into connecting physical sensors with graphic design systems. Before implementing sensors directly into poster prototypes, I conducted a series of experiments in p5.js to translate sensor data into clear visual behavior through geometric shapes and typography. Documenting these tests revealed how fragmented resources around physical computing and graphic visualization can be, which led me to create 0PEN:SENSE as a structured archive. The platform consolidates sketches, interaction recordings, and code samples, making sensor-based visualization tools accessible to other designers and researchers interested in exploring physical-digital interaction.
